Out For A Stroll

Bear: It feels like ages since I've been out and about. Let's go for a walk!
Moomintroll: Sounds like a plan.



Bear: Let's tell our primary human to get her shoes on.
Moomintroll: Looks a bit grey out there - best take an umbrella.

Bear: It's pretty busy, even despite the lockdown. I wonder where all the humans are going.

Bear: Yes, yes, all very exciting. I don't think we'll have that much of an adventure today.
Moomintroll: Where is there even to go?



Bear: The pub's closed.
Moomintroll: *shrug* We can drink at home - and the sign says they're doing Sunday Roast Takeaway!
Bear: Where else can we go?



Bear: Too muddy for the loop through the fields today.
Moomintroll: Indeed. My complexion wouldn't mix well with mud...



Bear: Look, ponies!
Moomintroll: Ooh - shall we get closer?



Moomintroll: Too close, too close!! Run for it!!
Bear: Aaaargh! Geroff! I'm not edible!



Bear: Phew! That was scary. I thought I was going to lose a paw there for a minute.
Moomintroll: Let's just rest here for a bit and regroup. What were you saying earlier about excitement?



Bear: It's nice and tranquil here at least. The humans rediscovered this path down by the golf course when they exploring during the first lockdown nearly a year ago.
Moomintroll: It's difficult to believe this whole lockdown business has been going on that long.



Bear: We're very lucky to have nice places to walk that are really close by where we live.
Moomintroll: Yes, this woodland path is lovely - another discovery by the humans on their explorations.



Bear: One more brief stop and then we should get home. Thanks for the company!
