Belated Gunton Reading Retreat
A few weeks ago, my primary human and I went on our second reading retreat of the year, near Gunton. The house used to be a B&B, which you could tell from the way it was arranged:
Another great book selection and another great goodie bag:
The reading room was beautiful - spacious, airy, and very comfortable:
We went for a walk down to the beach:
My primary human isn't generally keen on sand, but we went down to the sea:
There was a beautiful boat of flowers outside the house, which we could see from our bedroom window:
The beach theme continued inside the house:
And this fine fellow was there to greet us every time we went upstairs:
It was a wonderful few days, as always, as we actually signed up for a last-minute place on the next retreat in Taunton, due to take place at the end of March. Unfortunately, though, that trip was cancelled, so this one will be our last reading retreat for a while.
