Geocaching Adventure
The humans and I took advantage of the new rules for meeting outside and went on a trip to visit our friends in Harpenden. It was a glorious sunny day:
We went looking for geocaches in the area and I found one in a hollow at the base of this tree:
We had brought some little bears to leave in any caches that were big enough so we introduced this fellow to his new home:
The next cache was in a hole partway up this tree, which required one of the host humans to do a bit of climbing:
This interesting creature was guarding the log:
The last cache we looked for had been left open and scattered in the bushes, so we reunited it with its lid and found it a good hiding place:
It was a lovely long walk with good friends and the weather was good:
We went back to our friends' house for a really nommy dinner:
We weren't breaking the rules because the whole back wall of their kitchen opened out onto the garden so we were essentially outside when sitting next to the patio. But it did get a bit chilly, prompting the humans to don some rather unsettling garb:
Overall, though, it was an excellent day trip, and very nice to see some other humans in the flesh after so long.
