After the excitement of the hill, we finally made our way to our seats on Court 1. If you have a magnifying glass, you will see Lleyton Hewitt playing Richard Bloomfield behind me! Although Hewitt won in straight sets, I don't think Bloomfield will be unhappy with his performance - we got to see some great tennis during the match.
Later came the match between Sharapova and Chan, another straight sets win for the favourite but, again, some very good tennis from the underdog.
The rain stayed away, too.
