And here we are at the Tower Of London itself. I always imagined it just being one big round tower, but the grounds are much more extensive than that. There are actually lots of towers, along with a palace, so the whole place looks more like a fort than a tower. I guess they had to have quite a lot of room, since some prisoners brought their families and servants to live here with them.
