The Happy Couple!

And, of course, we mustn't forget the happy couple themselves!

It's been a long and sometimes difficult road for them, so it was wonderful to share their big day with them.

They certainly seemed to enjoy themselves, as did I!

Ceilidh!

The festivities concluded with a ceilidh, which was tremendous fun, if a little warm.

My humans' present to the bride and groom was a ceilidh tune and dance specially commissioned for the day, and it went off extremely well.

Cake!

Then came the cutting of the cake!

It was a bit precarious, since the stack was taller than the humans, but these individual cupcakes were scrummy.

Champagne!

I made sure I was well prepared by the time the speeches and toasts came around.

Bling!

Everyone looked so lovely, I felt a little under dressed, so I appropriated some of the bling from the table decorations.

Llama!

Weddings are excellent places for making new friends.

This fine fellow was part of the dowry, and turned out to be a good contact when in search of refreshment.

Smoochies!

This lovely lady sat opposite me at dinner and proved a convivial companion. All in all, I did rather well for hugs throughout the day.

Snaffled!

Ah, there it is!

And, I must say, I think it looks better on her! Nice feathers, too.

My humans dressed for the occasion - and don't they scrub up well, as the best man also said of the bridesmaids.

But where, might I ask, is sir's bow tie?

Accessories!

One must, of course, ensure one has the correct accessories.

Wedding!

Who doesn't love a good wedding?

And I must say the one we attended in Winchester yesterday was truly lovely.
