Recently, the humans and I took a rare trip on the actual train to meet up with one of their friends. We were pleased to see that our local station is still being well maintained:
We disembarked at Finsbury Park and walked the Parkway to Highgate. My primary human was glad she wore her boots, because it was pretty wet:
The Parkway is a disused railway, so you occasionally come across old platforms:
It's really nice to be able to walk somewhere so green in the middle of London. We're very lucky in Enfield to have so many green spaces, but the Parkway made a nice change of scenery:
At the Highgate end of the walk, we stopped off at a pub for a welcome burger. I was keen to maintain safe practices in public:
Then, our friend suggested we head home via a different Parkway, which led us to Alexandra Palace, so we got plenty of exercise. We also watched the sun set over north London:
It was a very pleasant outing all told!
Then, over this past weekend, the humans took a trip to B&Q and ended up introducing a lot more greenery into the flat!
We'll still be going out for regular walks, though!
