Highlands Holiday - Part One
Sep. 13th, 2020 12:05 pmThe humans and I took a trip to the Scottish Highlands last week. We took the Caledonian Sleeper train up to Inverness:
It was very cosy in our little cabin, though my primary human had some trouble getting down from the top bunk! We got little goodie bags, containing water, ear plugs and sleep masks:
Upon arrival, we picked up our hire car and drove to Plockton, where we have enjoyed the view of the bay several times before, but it was still gorgeous:
We took a walk round the village and found a bench where we could enjoy the view from a different perspective:
We also found this rocky trail, which had nearly been transformed into a stream by the rain:
In the village, we spotted this interesting sign:
There were bears in at least one of the houses!
And these fine fellows looked as if they'd like to join us outside in the wet:
It was lovely to visit Plockton again, even if it was a little damp. But the trip had barely even started and we hadn't even got to our accommodation yet...
