Transformational Retreat in Cromer
Feb. 5th, 2025 03:39 pmMy primary human and I accompanied a group of amazing writers to Cromer for a retreat this past weekend. One of the newer members of our family, Snoozy Boy, came too, though he spent most of the weekend asleep...
You will note exercise equipment in the background - my human got up for 8:15am yoga on both days, while Snoozy and I sensibly stayed in bed...
The house we stayed in was clearly friendly to bears, as this lovely picture was on the sideboard outside our room:
We also had a very personable elephant watching over us:
One of the main activities of the weekend was my human running her first ever writing workshop - Using Tarot for Creative Inspiration! She thought it would be a good idea to have a separate deck for every participant, so was forced (oh no!) to buy two more before the trip:
There was also a lot of very, very good food, as the host's partner attended to provide all the catering. On the last night, the humans enjoyed a delicious Middle Eastern banquet:
It was a truly wonderful event - and we're hoping to do it again soon!
