Norway Part 4 - Flam

aloysius_bearOn our last full day in Norway, we went on an excellent excursion, starting with the Flam mountain railway on a very comfy train:
The views were great the whole way and we stopped off briefly for a photo opportunity at a gorgeous waterfall:
We had a brief amount of time in Flam itself, so we decided to have lunch in the awesome Viking pub:
The food was great, the bartender looked like Thor, and they really leaned into their theme on the inside of the building:
Flam itself is very pretty:
But the views got even more spectacular once we got on the boat:
The best view of the fjord was from the back:
We had some time to explore the area when we got off the boat, and found this fine fellow:
There was also a Viking ship sized perfectly for me!
Unfortunately, though, one of the humans misbehaved and had to be punished:
Stocks aside, we all had a wonderful time in Norway and would very much recommend it as a holiday destination!
