This past weekend, the humans and I met up with the other humans in our family for a few days on the Isle of Wight. We met these colourful fellows at a cafe in Shanklin:
These parrots marked the trail at Shanklin Chine:
One of the humans fell foul of some punishment as we made our way up to the waterfall:
There was a viewpoint with a lovely view out over the sea:
A friendly red squirrel pointed the way to the top:
We reached the waterfall:
Looking back gave us a beautiful view of all the greenery:
On the last day of our trip, we went to Quarr Abbey:
It wasn't very ornate inside (which didn't stop it being very impressive) but there was a great wood carving on the wall:
It was lovely to spend time with the rest of the family and have a few days out of London. And we'll be back on the Isle of Wight in a few weeks with a different group of people, for a whole week of gaming and fun!
