A couple of weekends ago, the humans and I took a trip to Richmond, to visit Ham House.
We started with a very civilised picnic by the river, eliciting envious comments from several passersby, some of whom even guessed my name as Aloysius. I thought it would be too confusing to correct them, but was pleased to find people who made the association.

Aloysius is the name of my human, not my name - my name is just Bear.
You see, there really should be an apostrophe after the Aloysius in the user name of this LJ, which might stop people getting quite so confused.
